Banshee是之前介绍过的一款基于GTK#的媒体播放器，它在不久前才发布了1.0版本。

现在Banshee 1.2又紧接着来了，带来了大量更新。

如果你是Banshee的用户千万不要错过。

Banshee是Novel开发的强大的媒体播放器，其主要特性是，支持音/视频的播放，支持媒体管理，Podcasting, Last.FM和移动播放器的支持。

而最新的1.2版本大大加强了各种应用，其中：

  • 支持10波段的EQ调整，可以充分调节出你想要的音效。
  • 互联网广播的支持，继支持Podcasting和Last.FM以后，你可以使用Banshee来听广播了！
  • 音乐推荐功能，根据喜欢程度显示出推荐艺术家、专辑等。
  • 支持DAAP客户端（iTunes音乐共享）。
  • Amarok集成，支持导入Amarok的列表、评分和Postcast订阅，让你无痛转到Banshee上来。

Banshee 1.2已渐渐成为一款全能的播放器，似乎有成为GNOME下的Amarok的趋势。

下载可以访问：http://banshee-project.org/download/archives/1.2.0/，其中Ubuntu的第三方源已经更新至了1.2版。

    把这个源加到sources.list就可以了：
    deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/banshee-team/ubuntu hardy main #Banshee
    然后sudo apt-get install banshee-1
